Verdi - Falstaff (score)

Verdi had yearned to write a successful comic opera ever since the failure of a work half a century earlier. Falstaff was Verdi's last great work, completed in 1893. Despite having taken two years to compose, it is a fresh, youthful work for a man in his eighties.
