"With Organ Music for Christmas” and "Organ Music for Passiontide and Easter” Bärenreiter has already published two extremely successful collections for professional and amateur church musicians and organists. This latest addition to the series, "Lob und Dank” [Praise and Thanksgiving] also concentrates largely on 19th century music.
At the centre are chorale settings of the sections " Lobgesänge ” [Hymns of praise] and " Loben und Danken ” [Praise and Thanksgiving] from the " Evangelisches Gesangbuch ” [Protestant Hymnbook] as well as the section "Lob und Dank” [Praise and Thanks] from the " Gotteslob ” [Catholic Hymnbook].
